About the Foundation
Reframing what it means to be a man — together.
Ingobamakhosi — aka Where Brothers Talk — exists so boys, young men, and men have a place to voice their struggles, ambitions, fears, and failures without judgement.
Young men today find themselves at the centre of cultural and social shifts. The constant evolution of what it means to be a man brings confusion around identity, purpose, role in society, and relationships. Among the hopelessness and frustration so many experience, Ingobamakhosi paves a way forward through unity, brotherhood, and collective wisdom.
We focus on cross-generational conversations because the challenges men face shift with every season of life. From learning your identity as a teen, to navigating careers, fatherhood, and growing older — what doesn’t change is the need for someone to talk to.
Core Values
What we stand on.
Authentic Conversations
Honesty and openness as foundation. We invite men to drop the facade and embrace vulnerability.
Emotional Health
Open dialogues about depression, anxiety, grief, and the everyday weight of being a man.
Mentorship & Community
Older men guide younger ones, building responsibility, connection, and shared wisdom.
Adolescence & Self
Boys paired with mentors who teach emotional regulation, self-confidence, and identity.
Honouring the wisdom of elders.
The wisdom of older generations is invaluable, yet many elders feel disconnected. We recognise elders as keepers of wisdom and empower them to share life experiences that guide younger men — fostering respect, understanding, and a clearer path forward.
